Cheng-Yi joined the Tsai Lab in November 2022. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Kaohsiung Medical University, and earned his Ph.D. at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. His doctoral studies focused on the molecular mechanism of how Cc2d1a gene mutation leads to autism spectrum disorder. In the Tsai Lab, Cheng-Yi is interested in investigating the role of the glymphatic system in Alzheimer’s disease progression.
