Nic joined the Tsai Lab in June 2021 after completing a Master of Biological Science degree in Neuroscience and Computational Biology at the University of MN, US. While completing his MS degree, Nic worked in the University of Minnesota’s Neurosurgery Department to develop a novel methodology to 3D bioprint designer neural organoids with Ann Parr and Michael McAlpine. In the Tsai Lab, Nic is investigating the potential role of sleep in mediating the neuroprotective effects of gamma rhythms in Alzheimer’s disease and Down syndrome.
